Obituary for Betty Lee Reese

Betty Lee Reese, 80, of State College, died September 26, 2016, at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College.

Betty was born May 28, 1936, in Norrisville, MD. She was the daughter of the late John Austin Flint Treadway and Carrie (Shroades) Treadway.

She received her LPN license from Centre County Vo Tech and worked in the Emergency Department at the Lewistown Hospital, where she retired after 20 years of service.

Surviving Betty are two daughters, The Reverend Kelly L. Spahr, of Rochester, NY, and Dawn R. Hsieh (Ke Ming) of Naperville, IL; one sister, Lois Drawbaugh, of Red Lion, PA; eight grandchildren and two nephews.

There will be no public service. All services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Lewistown Hospital E.R, 400 Highland Ave., Lewistown, PA 17044 or The Hershey Oncology Department, 500 University Dr., Hershey, PA 17033.
